I took a different approach to the Grid Art project. I wanted to capture how we tried to find the grids in the bathroom and in one small room we found grids everywhere. I thought what it would be like to keep my eyes open throughout the week and see where grids were. From my UT dorm room, to the airport, to New Jersey, to my house, to my old highschool...grids were everywhere! If I extended this project for two weeks, the amount of grids I could find would be astounding. Enjoy!

As a photographer, I thought it was great you used photos into a huge photo-grid. I really think it was an interesting way of making a grid since most of us used simple, found or hand made grids. You took actual technology to make a grid. Plus the black background really brings out the photo imagery, nice work.
ReplyDeleteThis one was my favorite! I loved the idea of taking photographs of grids! Not only is your photography fantastic, It's also creative and colorful. Great job!

ReplyDeleteI thought your project was really different, i know coming up with a idea for this project was really hard, and you went outside the box. and it must have been fun looking and finding all the grids and what not. and when it all comes down to it, you still made a grid, out of grids.
